This is my desire:
“I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. I will set no worthless thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.”
In the morning when I went to the campground to pay, the lady ended up charging me only $10 for both of us, since we weren’t even using the showers! Yay. $5 each is perfect. Then we drove to Kaikoura. It is such a small town! We ended up going on a walk and then decided to drive to Blenheim. It looked like Blenheim would be a perfect big town, and there seemed to be a lot to do. Well, we were in for a surprise! The town was so dead, I thought a natural disaster had happened. But since it was Good Friday, everything was closed; even the grocery stores! I guess Easter is really big in New Zealand, even bigger than the US!
We ended up getting some gelato ( I got Chai and Café; yummy!), some hot chips at the one café that was oen, and McDonald’s 60 cent cones later. We went to the café to plug Savannah’s lap-top in, and then we went to McDees for free wi-fi-. Then we drove to Picton.
That’s where we are now. We found a natural reserve park to stay at. It’s $6.50 a night! Good price! I was hoping for free, but either way I am thankful! Tomorrow will be a chill day and then we board the ferry at 6:35pm tomorrow night. I pray that we find one place that’s open tomorrow! We’ll see. :) Later.
